ADMPUK Registered supervisor & private practice member
Authentic Movement Practitioner, Facilitator in 'The Body Mind Approach'
Couples and relationship Therapy Gestalt Center UK

I attend regular supervision & adhere to strict code of professional conduct.
I am fully insured & DBS Checked.
I am an experienced psychotherapist, couples/relationship therapist and supervisor with over 25 years of movement and body work experience. I work with the whole person in mind, bringing experience and sensitivity to people’s different traditions, personal, cultural and spiritual beliefs and many different world views

I offer sessions online and in person in the Bristol & Gloucestershire area. My background in movement and bodywork has informed and shaped my psychotherapy practice over the years, whereby I invite clients to bring the fullness of their felt experience into therapy, including messages from their bodies, believing these to be vital gateways to deeper personal understanding, transformation and growth. My approach is integrative, whereby I draw from different models and approaches depending on the need of the individual. Value is placed on somatic, symbolic, playful and creative processes alongside more verbal aspects of the therapy and clients are encouraged and supported to engage at a level that is right for them.

I offer supervision for psychotherapists, arts psychotherapists, counsellors and health professionals from my private practice in Bristol, Stroud and also online. I have experience providing supervision for charitable organisations, academic institutions and individuals seeking supervision independently.

I  have worked as a senior physiotherapist and clinical supervisor in the N.H.S in both physical and mental health settings and I have been fortunate enough to have provided Dance Movement Psychotherapy in the N.H.S for older adults, adults and children (C.A.M.H.S). I have worked as a lecturer and supervisor on the MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy program at Goldsmiths University London, and as training manager for Pathways2wellbeing an organisation that provides groups with the NHS using 'The Body Mind Approach' for people experiencing persistent medically unexplained symptoms. I have also provided therapy within schools for a vulnerable learners service within Gloucestershire.

I have a lifelong interest and passion for movement and dance in both a personal and professionally capacity. I continue to explore movement and other forms of embodiment with a special interest in how this expresses alongside nature and in the context of the wider environments in which we live. I am constantly inspired by its power to transform. Other training includes: Body and movement in supervision, safeguarding children Level 3, solution focused therapy, children's accelerated trauma treatment (CATT), neuro-dramatic play, eco psychology, integrative psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, authentic movement practices, human physiology, anatomy and bio mechanics, movement, dance & arts in psychotherapy, trauma recovery models & neuroscience.
